Our History
Midó Grup is a young company dedicated to the food industry, located in the city of Terrassa.

At the head of the company is its founder, Lluís Vilaplana, chef and entrepreneur, together with his partner and co-founder Simo Moukhtari, who holds a degree in labor relations and social integration.

We create new products with well-developed recipes that offer our clients high-quality culinary solutions and make their work easier. We do not use preservatives, colorants, or additives, as offering healthy and natural products is very important to us.
At Midó we are open to listening to all proposals and taking on any challenge; this is why we also accept custom recipe productions and different formats, as long as the machinery and production volumes fit.
We operate in a 500 m² facility equipped with an industrial kitchen and all the necessary machinery to develop our products with full safety guarantees, as well as refrigeration equipment to store everything we produce.
History
Both partners have worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, with extensive experience and Lluís owning several restaurants.
They met while working together on an organized catering project and decided to create Midó Grup to provide fourth- and fifth-range solutions for professionals, whose internal sector challenges they knew very well. They also target retail consumers, who increasingly have less time to cook and demand high-quality prepared products.
Mission
We work daily with dedication to earn our place in the food industry by offering new product ideas that provide practical and healthy alternatives. We always prioritize quality and are motivated by the thought that our customers enjoy consuming our products.
Team
Midó has a team of qualified professionals in charge of safe production, quality control, administration, and customer and supplier service. The founders themselves stay fully involved and oversee every aspect of the company.
Horeca / Retail
We produce both retail formats for end customers in shops and large retailers, as well as formats for professionals, offering both fresh and frozen products.
Specialization
We are currently specialized in preparing seasoned meats with our exclusive recipes, which we have perfected over time to achieve a well-balanced result in every sense. We cook them with long, low-temperature methods when required and shred them through an artisanal process.
